Children’s Ministry

At Heart of the Springs Church, we believe that welcoming children in the name of Jesus is a lofty privilege and a high calling (Matthew 18:5, Mark 9:36-37, Luke 9:47-48). We look forward to the privilege of welcoming you and your children!

“We will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, His power, and the wonders He has done.” Psalm 78:4

Sunday Morning Programs

Sunday Morning Children’s Ministry programs meet in the LOFT on the second floor. When you arrive on the second floor, you’ll check in with our friendly volunteers and they’ll introduce you to your child’s teachers and help your child get settled.

During the 9:02 am service, we offer our IMPACT Kids Sunday School classes for pre-K through 5th grade. Dedicated teachers will lead age-appropriate, interactive Bible lessons designed to help your child get closer to the Creator, develop their relationship with the Lord Jesus, and grow in their friendships with others in their church family.

During the 10:32 am service, we offer our Elevate Kids Children’s Church program for pre-K through 5th grade. Elevate Kids is an action-packed program that includes videos, skits, games, music and Bible teaching, led by a team of caring adults.

Our Awana program meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:25pm – 8:00pm, during the school year. At Heart of the Springs Church, our Awana program is designed for pre-K through 5th grade children.

If you’re looking for a place for your children to learn God’s Word and how to apply those truths in their lives—all in a fun, loving and positive environment—check out the Awana program at HOTS!

Awana is an international, nondenominational, Bible-centered ministry with a 75-year history of teaching kids to know, love and serve Jesus Christ.

Each Wednesday club night is broken into three sections. During Game Time, children enjoy a variety of fun and exciting games. During Small Group Time, they are challenged to memorize scripture and complete other Bible-related activities. Large group time is an opportunity to learn valuable lessons from the Bible.

AWANA Age Groups:

Cubbies is for 3- and 4-year-olds, two years before they enter kindergarten. Whether it’s the fun puppets, the energetic games, the caring leaders or their “Cubbies friends,” preschoolers simply love this program.

In Story Time each week, preschoolers learn about God’s love, God’s Word and about His Son—the Lord Jesus, the promised Savior. Cubbies helps you lead your child to God so he or she will respect and trust Him for life.

To many children in kindergarten through second grade, Sparks is a highlight of the week! They love their red vests, the dress-up themes, the exciting games and spending time with friends and caring leaders.

Sparks will explore the biographies of people of the Bible from a new portion of Scripture each week, memorize Bible verses and complete handbook activities.

T&T engages third- through fifth-graders by answering their questions about God and the Bible, guiding them through this pivotal life stage as they grow in their Christian faith.

Newly updated curriculum provides lessons that deepen a child’s knowledge about God and His Word, teaching how to put that knowledge into action in everyday life.

T&T is designed to help kids stay plugged in as they move into the preteen years and continue growing in their relationship with Christ.

Collide also serves as a place to ask questions and wrestle with their faith in a safe environment. Sunday Night Collide includes, worship, teaching, small groups, and fun games. Discipleship Groups (D-Groups)

Discipleship and accountability are a core part of our youth group here at HOTS. We have several “guys only” and “girls only” D-groups that meet in youth leader’s homes on a weekly basis.

In these groups, we have a blast as we form ever-deepening relationships with our Savior and each other. Through teaching biblical truths, serving as a support system during tough times, and holding each other accountable for our behavior, our D-groups equip our students to stand firm in their faith no matter what the World throws their way. If you are interested in joining a D-group Email Jill Eich.
